11/22/05:Updates!11/20/05: Well the problems with the site continue. The ISP fixed them but I was already in Vegas. Hopefully they are all straightened out now. 11/12/05: Ok, I usually don't bother to post new articles on the front page anymore but this one just cracked me up. Septa now has trading cards out with the employee and their thoughts. I got an idea...hey SEPTA.....forget about what your employees think. Concentrate on your CUSTOMERS. $600,000 for an ad campaign of trading cards. You got to love the message from SEPTA "The primary message of the series of print ads is that SEPTA is the driving force and fabric that holds the Greater Philadelphia region together. " Here's a link to their press release. Here is a link to the article on Philly.com Hmmm on second thought maybe Septa has an idea here. The last time trading cards were used was for Al Qaida. Maybe Septa is putting the pictures of the biggest union supporters on these cards.........We need to talk about this one in the forums..... Also, something weird happened with the website where the links to every other portion were lost. I was having problems with my hosting company and hopefully everything is worked out now.
11/04/2005: Well, with the first week of the strike behind us, the traffic to this site has increased greatly. Were getting new members in the forums, the traffic to the site in the first 5 days of November matched all the traffic for October, and it seems both employees and customers of Septa are noticing us. Anyway, enjoy the site and know let us know what you think in the forums. On another note, if you have any information on the Septa talks, or any updated pictures of the stations, or anything in general that you think would be interesting to our readers please email it to me. Click here to send the message. I've also taken the time to update the site a bit. Please excuse any areas you find that may be under construction or not working. I'm not a web programmer by trade. Let me know what you think. Thanks and good luck getting around! SEPTA Workers Go Out On Strikehttp://www.nbc10.com/news/5208857/detail.html http://www.kyw1060.com/news_story_detail.cfm?newsitemid=50192 4/18/2005: I've changed the "Septa in the News" area. The link to the left and below was updated to take you directly to the SeptaSucks forums. There is a new topic called "Septa in the News" where registered users can post articles related to Septa. Both registered and unregistered users can discuss the articles after they are posted. The old link is now listed as "Archived News Articles" that can be accessed for reference. OK, the forums were infected with the Santy php virus. The site has been reinstalled. Please visit the forums here: SeptaSucks Forums We have some things in common with Boston (there's a nice comparison in our forums). Do me a favor and visit our friends at www.badtransit.com. Check out the site to see the common things we have with Boston's Transit Agency. Who could be worse? We have our first plug. Listen to the great audio from one of the Regional Rail lines.
